1. Mal-adaptive Behavior:

  • Closed eyes when meeting people
  • Walking out from the group
  • Turning on/off water tap and opening/closing doors
  • Body rocking


  • Able to make eye contact when talking with others
  • Less repetitive behavior

2. Auditory Defensiveness:

  • Avoidance of certain auditory stimuli by putting his hands over his ears


  • More tolerance with auditory stimuli e.g. able to handle games using a bell and the noises of the elephants

3. Poor Socialization and communication:

  • Unable to initiate greeting others
  • Unable to respond and interact with others
  • Unable to express his feelings, needs, and emotions
  • Repeating what is spoken to him verbatim



  • Can initiate greetings with familiar people
  • More responsive in his interactions with others
  • Improvement in expression of feelings, needs, and emotions (e.g. able to smile, clap when enjoying an activity)
  • More eye contact and longer participation when interacting with others
